Create, Commission or Curate?
Creating new and exciting online content on a regular basis can be a time-consuming process with planning, research and writing.
But as Tracy recently explained – curation is a great addition to your content arsenal. It’s not always quicker than creating original content (although it can be), and having a good mix of content from other trusted sources can really add to your content marketing efforts.
Commissioning content is another way to save on time (although it may not save on money). Could you ask a student, alumnus, academic or local business person to guest write some content for you? Or you may even want to hire a copywriter (or agency like us) for larger pieces of work, or on a retained basis. Either way, there will likely be a cost to this approach, but it will bring some variety to your content mix.
