It’s competition time!

We are running a one-day workshop in London on Thursday 19th November and are offering you the chance to win a free ticket. The one-day workshop, Creating Effective and Engaging Content for Education Communications, is led by our CEO and Founder, Tracy Playle.

To enter, all you have to do is retweet one of our competition tweets or like our Facebook or LinkedIn post by 3pm this Friday, 13th November. We’ll be posting about the competition on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn all this week so you’ll have plenty of chances to enter. So keep an eye on our Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages and retweet or like to be in with a chance to win a workshop place!

The workshop will be held from 9.30am at etc. Venues Dexter House, No.2 Royal Mint Court, Tower Hill, London, EC3N 4QN and includes refreshments and a two-course lunch. Further details can be found on our Eventbrite page.

We will announce the winner on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn by 5pm on Friday.

About the workshop

At this workshop, Tracy will work with attendees to explore how to create a compelling content strategy for your school, college or university’s engagement activity. This will include:

  • What is a content strategy, why do you need one and how can you get buy-in for support for this?
  • The steps towards creating a content strategy
  • Content auditing and understanding your starting point
  • Understanding your audiences and how to plan compelling content for them
  • Content and editorial planning for websites, social media, email and offline channels
  • Best practice in content marketing and creating content with impact – what works and why?
  • Creative ways to resource the implementation of your content strategy
  • Measuring and evaluating the success of your content strategy
  • Examples and case studies of effective content strategies

This workshop is suitable for anyone working in and with the education sector and has responsibility for any of the following areas:

  • Schools and teacher liaison

About Tracy

Tracy is digital content strategist and specialist in education sector marketing and communications. She advises schools, colleges and universities on digital content strategies, social media planning, audience research and integrating online and offline communication approaches. She has worked with over 120 schools, colleges, universities and related organisations in more than 17 countries. She has spoken at conferences in North America, throughout Europe, in Africa, Asia and Australasia.

In 2014 Tracy was awarded the CASE Crystal Apple Teaching Award for her work in supporting the professional development of advancement professionals working in education around the world. At that time, just 20 people had received this award in a 20 year history, and Tracy became the first European digital communications professional to receive a CASE Crystal Apple Award.

  • The winner will be selected at random and notified by Pickle Jar Communications by 5pm Friday, 13th November 2016.
