Welcome to Pickle Jar Communications. Thank you for visiting us!
The short version…
We help organisations understand how to use online media to communicate and engage more effectively with their customers and audiences.
The longer version…
Pickle Jar Communications is a communications consultancy with specialist expertise in new and social media communications, mixed with a blend of more traditional marketing, communications and public relations (PR) approaches.
We were established in 2007 by former University of Warwick employee and Head of Research-TV, Tracy Playle who saw a need for providing sensible support for organisations wishing to better understand how they can enhance their reputation and their marketing-communications activities through social media. More importantly we aim to show how social media can be part of an overall communications strategy, bringing together a range of tools, channels and tactics.
Our services range from simple one-day in-house workshops to help you and your team understand how to integrate social media into your marketing and communications activities through to strategy development, communications planning and implementation of projects.
Our specialism is in working with the education sector and research organisations, though we equally work with a range of businesses to help them understand the processes, approaches and opportunities for using social and digital media to communicate with their audiences.
We passionately believe in sharing resources and useful information, which we do through our blog, Twitter, bookmarking useful and interesting articles using Digg and through our Facebook page. Connect with us through any of these means to see what we’re reading about, working on and thinking about.
