Developing HE Comms was our way of showing our dedication and commitment to the development of marketing, communications and engagement professionals working in the Higher Education sector.
We created HE Comms as a place where marketing, communications and other engagement professionals working in the Higher Education sector could come together to discuss issues that matter to them. This is a side project for us, and something that we do voluntarily and not currently as a commercial venture. We have never marketed the network, and yet we have almost 1000 members from around the world. In 2012 we plan to grow and develop what we do with HE Comms, to make it more useful and engaging for our members.
Anyone working legitimately in and with the HE sector, or making active steps to work in or with the sector, may join the site by signing up here. Other sites and networks are restricted only to those working in-house, whereas at HE Comms we recognise the value that those working in freelance and consultancy roles with the sector also bring, so anyone can join. New membership requests are moderated to prevent spammers from joining the site, so please bear with us if there is a short delay in your membership being approved.
