One of our most requested services is to provide in-house workshops and training programmes. Every workshop that we deliver is tailored to your needs. The most popular request is for social and digital media workshops, but we can also plan and deliver more general communications and marketing strategy sessions, away-days and creative planning sessions. We deliver short talks (lectures), workshops and seminars to senior managers of organisations, communications and marketing professionals, HR professionals, academics/researchers, students, alumni relations professionals and many many more, with content tailored to specific areas of interest. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and see if we can help.
Developing your bespoke workshop programme
Following an initial discussion or brief, we will develop a programme structure designed to achieve what you would like to get out the day. A mixture of any or all of the following elements found in this list can be included (and others not listed here) mixed in with activities and exercises.
Half-day, full-day or intensive multi-day programme?
For some organisations, a half-day will suffice but this rarely allows enough time for lots of exercises and activities. Many clients opt for full-day workshops for around 10-12 people (we happily deliver them for more people but it involves a little more planning). When an organisation wishes to involve many departments and differing levels of management, then we can piece together an intensive programme (typically 3-4 days) of workshops, seminars and talks each tailored to your different internal audiences, levels of knowledge, specific interests, and differing objectives. This can also be a particularly cost effective way of delivering workshops to many people.
PR Academy Digital Communications Certificate
Tracy Playle, Director of Pickle Jar Communications, leads the PR Academy Digital Communications Certificate. This programme is delivered mostly via online learning (webinars and extensive resources in a dedicated virtual learning environment), and one full-day workshop typically held in London. The Spring 2012 course is currently underway and we will update this site when dates for future courses are announced. Find out more on the PR Academy website.
