Tracy founded Pickle Jar Communications in
September 2007 and is the company's Director and Senior Consultant.
Prior to forming
Pickle Jar Communications Tracy worked as the Head of Research-TV.
Research-TV was a broadcast PR service designed specifically to
support the promotion of research on television channels around the
world. During her time at Research-TV Tracy oversaw the production
of more than 80 video news releases securing coverage on more than
220 television channels in 145 countries. In this time she worked
with more than 30 Higher Education Institutions, two regional
development agencies, research councils and the European Commission.
Tracy also previously held
a number of communications roles at the University of Warwick
encompassing press and media relations, broadcast PR, online
communications and website development, internal communications,
event management and community relations.
On a voluntary basis,
Tracy is Vice Chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations' (CIPR)
Education and Skills Sector Group. She
is also the Group's events officer, organising a series of events
and conferences throughout the year to share best practice between
PR professionals working in the sector.
Tracy has a first class degree in English and American Literature from
the University of Warwick, a Masters degree in American Literature
and Culture from Keele University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public
Relations awarded by the CIPR. She is a full
member of the CIPR.
Tracy grew up in Essex and now lives in
Coventry with her partner and three house rabbits. She is a keen blogger, an avid 'tweeter' and also the founder of HE Comms, the social network for UK Higher Education communications
and marketing
professionals. |
