10 minute training: empathy mapping

Striving to be as compassionate and empathetic as possible when planning and creating content is a recipe for successful engagement. To achieve this requires that we really take the steps to truly understand our audiences and step into their shoes, preferably informed by actual audience research.

One of the many techniques that we at Pickle Jar Communications use is empathy mapping. It's a super simple tool and an excellent way to transport ourselves into our audiences' mindset. In this 10 minute training video, Tracy Playle explores what empathy mapping is and how to use the tool to inform your content and experience design strategy.

We have extensive experience of conducting audience research and producing audience maps for our clients across the education sector. Contact us to discuss how we can support you.
