Managing projects on time and on budget

This workshop is only available to members of ContentEd+. Find out more about the benefits of joining ContentEd+.

Project management is a skillset increasingly required of content professionals, though not necessarily a skillset that comes naturally to us. How can we develop this ability, so we can deliver projects on time and on budget?

Ellie Lovell will share her expertise of managing content projects within the education sector, which she developed further in her near-decade of experience at Pickle Jar Communications.

In many ways, this webinar is a sequel to our March webinar, “Writing project proposals to gain buy-in from senior leaders.”

Ellie will navigate you through what happens after you secure the go-ahead and resources for your project.

You will discover how to:

  • Get ahead by getting started: tools and templates to put in place at the outset so you start strong

  • Track the success of your project, looking at common measures such as staying on time and on budget, plus others which are less obvious

  • Respond to curveballs and calamities that might occur along the way, so you can swiftly get your project back on track.

Big projects can often feel daunting, but Ellie will give you the confidence and guidance to manage.

After this webinar, you’ll be on time, on budget, and on top of it.
