Introducing ContentEd: a two day conference to advance your content strategy

Understanding and advancing content strategy is currently a high priority for many communications, web and marketing professionals in the education sector. At Pickle Jar Communications we spend our lives advising our clients on their content strategies, or developing them for them.

However, it’s been a source of frustration for us over the past few years that as the content strategy profession matures, there is still a lack of training and events really addressing the topic amongst schools, colleges and universities in Europe.

After delivering the opening keynote address at the Confab HigherEd content strategy conference in Philadelphia in November 2016, I came away determined to bring something similar to the other side of the Pond. I waited for others to organise such an event here, but it dawned on me that we at Pickle Jar Communications really are the best people to make it happen.

So, I’m delighted to announce the inaugural ContentEd conference that we will host in London 29-30 June 2017. Over two days we will bring an exciting and energetic programme of keynotes, breakout sessions, longer workshops and discussion sessions to inspire the development and advancement of your organisation’s content strategy.

We already have keynote speakers lined up from Harvard University and Facebook (and – ahem – myself!). The call for session proposals is also open until 31st January 2017, so we’ll be adding many more exciting sessions over the coming weeks.

Do visit the conference website, and I hope to see many of you at the event.
